About us

Just when we were about to be finished raising kiddos and were looking at an almost-empty nest, we purchased 32 acres in rural north Texas, to live out our dream of building our own home, on acreage, and starting a small family farm. With 3 dogs, 4 cows shared from family in the hillcountry and 3 new horses of our own, we’re tackling – at midlife – all the things ranch living brings along. We are sharing what we’ve learned from friends, family and our community to help others be inspired to live out their rural dreams, if that’s where their path is leading.
