The family is actually building the grandparents’ house over here at the 4J and it is coming along so nicely – what a great house, I just love it so much more in life than on paper – and can’t wait to see it’s completion! It has also been neat to see brothers and cousins working on it together…that is something special!
We have also gained another barn cat, it seems – maybe just a part-timer (according to my neighbor, who also feeds him from time to time, too). He seems to just pop in at dinnertime and we don’t see him the rest of the day, but I’m kinda hoping he hangs around at night to provide my two kittens a little extra feral-cat role modeling. Here’s a cute vid of him popping by at dinner the 2nd night he dared approach at feeding time…the first time was met with casual hissing that must’ve turned him off. Boo seems pretty non-chalant about it this second go-round, but my Stubby-Chubby-boy turns out to be quite the micromanager!
A friend mentioned “if you build it, they will come” – I guess we did this to ourselves, haha!
I guess time will tell if he becomes a permanent resident…
